10 miles of boating with the 5 lakes, *5 lake chain, Mephisto is 193.3 (ha) or 482 acres, Maximum depth is 42 Metres, Mean depth is 14.7 Metres.

Lake Character

Part of a 5 lake chain. Mephisto being sparsely undeveloped for its size. Limestone base, very deep, clear water. The lake is just a beautiful chain and is not developed for its size. Records show only 36 properties on the lake. The public access is off the forest access road on the east side of Mephisto Lake.
