Cashel Lake is a nice medium size lake about 5 minutes north of the small town of Gunter. Nice deep trout lake with 60% of the lake crown.

Lake Character
60% crown land, deep clear water, limestone base, 41 properties on the lake. Quiet lake for its size, has a public access off the forest access road. Nice clear water due to the limestone. You can portage from Gunter Lake into Cashel. The water from Gunter goes into Cashel, at that area Gunter has a small stone dam. It is possible to lift a canoe over the small dam and go into Gunter. Gunter Lake offers very good bass fishing. The public launch is off the Egan Creek Road, forest access for the locals.
