Lake Character
Chandos Lake is a large lake that offers lots of boating and fishing. One of the largest lakes in the Crowe watershed. The lake has 3 large bays. The lake levels are controlled by the Crowe River and Paudash Lake runoff. Once called Loon Lake for the hundreds of nesting loons on the lake system. According to my records the lake has about 1200 properties. Chandos also has 3 full service marina’s and a public beach located off Hwy 620.
