Cross Lake is a little out of the way but worth the drive. The lake has to be at least 50% crown but little information is available on the lake. Nice deep Lake Trout lake with a few lakes that can be portaged into.

Just over 2 miles in size, deep Lake Trout lake.

Lake Character

Lots of crown land around this lake. Cross lake is also called Lyell Lake depending on the map you have. 39 properties, mostly seasonal roads. Deep clear, lake trout water. Access to 1000’s of acres of crown. Great lake for hiking, portage into 100% crown lakes like Little Lyell(cross), Coghlan and Pell Lake. The public boat launch is off the Madawaska Road and is marked.
