Nice lake off the main roads. The lake does not have hydro. Most of the properties you can drive to on a seasonal road. The lake offers good fishing and is a very scenic lake. 80% of the lake is crown so boating is very private. Some nice views and rock.

1 1/4 miles or 82.6 (ha), Maximum depth 17.1 Metres, Mean depth 3.3 Metres.

Lake Character

Nice lake 30 minutes north of Bancroft. Very little turn over on the lake. About 80% of the lake is crown. The lake has a public boat launch. Take Hwy 127 from Maynooth, right on Madawaska Road. Follow to Little Papineau Lake Road, keep on till the end. A great lake to enjoy the afternoon fishing.
